I honestly have never, ever had a better GP. The past couple of years have been quite traumatic for me. A year long battle with the DWP over my ESA benefit, didn't help my mental state at all. I appealed their decision and with the help of my Star Worker, took them to an HMRC Tribunal and WON! This was followed by Open Heart Surgery. Dr Haroon has had my back throughout all of this and I must say, his diagnosis of my conditions (Extreme Anxiety being just being one of them) have ALWAYS been right! This paints a pretty sad picture of the level of competency, in one Consultant I saw at my local hospital! I don’t know how Dr Haroon does it but his cheerful nature is inflectious and I always come out of an appointment much happier and brighter, than when I in!

I rarely visit the surgery but, when I do I specifically see Dr Haroon. He is both professional and caring. It is rare to find a Doctor who actually listens, gets to the route of a problem and who actually makes you feel that for whatever reason you are visiting it is important to him. Unfortunately we all face pressures within our work places and I expect he has more than most with forever increasing NHS cuts but, I have never visited the surgery and found Dr Haroon without a welcoming smile and a willingness to help. I have now seen this Doctor ,3 times and I can honestly say what a caring and lovely person he is. it is a pleasure to visit the surgery knowing that Dr Haroon will listen and give time to you as a patient. After so many good Doctors have left this practice, I felt time to try another surgery but now after seeing Dr Haroon have changed my mind regards this. I saw Doctor Haroon on three occasions lately for pain I had experienced for over a month causing me concern. Each time I was greeted with a smile and made to feel at ease. Straightaway Doctor Haroon displayed a genuine interest and a listening ear. After careful and tactful examination he provided possible explanations which were clear and precise and took great care . He was very professional in explainining how he wanted to take the matter forward and why and also very reassuring. Personally, he represents what a good family doctor is: engaging, personable, professional and caring. I would recommand him to anyone who wants great care.
